The 3-2-1 Rule
Keep at least 3 copies of your data, on 2 different media types, with 1 copy offsite.
Automated Backups
Use the built-in backup feature under Settings > Backup. Recommended settings:
- Daily automatic backup at 03:00 AM
- Retention: 30 days local, 90 days offsite
- Enable encryption
Tools
We recommend Restic or BorgBackup for backing up dashboard data and container volumes.
