Messenger
One-to-one and group chats between all GateControl accounts – with voice messages, pictures and push, all on your own server.
About this plugin
This plugin brings chats between all GateControl accounts of your server. One-to-one and group chats with voice messages, pictures, files and locations, with replies and reactions. Read receipts and “typing …” are included too, and both can be switched off.
New messages arrive as a push in the GateControl Android app and the GateControl Windows client; you can reply right from the notification. In the portal the messenger has its own “Chat” tab.
Everything stays on your own server. Message texts are stored encrypted, and not even the administrator can read private chats.
Together with the “Family” plugin you automatically get a family group, and rules get the action “Send messenger message”.
