About this plugin
This plugin brings family organisation into GateControl, with its own “Family” tab in the GateControl Android app and in the portal. Several shopping lists, also offline in the app, with an “I'm going shopping” push to the others. Tasks in rotation or first come, first served, with reminders, “Done” and “In 1 h”, plus stars for children with a weekly goal. Also dates and birthdays; if the “Everyday” plugin is installed, the app shows its calendars too.
Locate children on request, per child automatically or only after the child confirms. The child sees every request, positions are deleted after 7 days and locating ends automatically at 18; a log with a map is kept on the server. Children's phones get “I've arrived” and SOS, which breaks through quiet hours. Place reminders via geofencing on the phone trigger when you arrive at or leave a place – as a note, a shopping list or a message to someone; for other family members only with their consent.
Every feature can be switched on or off in the server's plugin settings. All data stays on your own server.
Requirements
- GateControl 1.164 or later
- For the app tab the GateControl Android app 1.28 or later
- All family members are GateControl users
